Position Title: FLOOR COVERING INSTALLER

We are looking for 01 experienced Floor Covering Installer (NOC TEER 73113).
Job Duties:
- Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered
- Measure, cut and fasten underlay and underpadding
- Prepare flooring plans and scheduling
- Measure, cut and install resilient floor coverings
- Prepare and install hardwood floors
- Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
- Conduct moisture, pH, temperature and other tests prior to flooring installations
- Estimate costs and materials
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
- Prepare floors for installations
- Load and carefully manage all materials
- Installation specializations: tiles, wood, laminate

Education: Completion of a general high school
Work Experience: Minimum 3 years in construction-related or wood-related industries, in which at least 2 years of direct work experience as a Floor Covering Installer in Canada.
Terms of Employment: Permanent Full-time
Start date: As soon as possible
Language of work: English
Wage: $37.00/hour
Hours: 6-8 hours/day, 30-40 hours/week
Location of work: Greater Victoria BC. No remote work available.
Other requirements: Must be able to work in Canada legally
