Job Description
*Job Summary*
Our growing ecommerce business delivers quality products to retailers and restaurants, focusing on exceptional customer service. We are seeking a Bookkeeper with strong QuickBooks expertise. This is a critical requirement as proficiency in QuickBooks is essential for performing tasks including order management, customer service and data entry.
\*\*Primarily remote with occasional in person visits.
*Role Description*
* Full cycle bookkeeper with on-line QuickBooks
* Payroll, Payroll tax, WSIB, HST payments
* Good understanding of US exchange rates converted to the Canadian dollar
* Process payments
* Create and send purchase orders to vendors
* Provide excellent customer service by email and phone
* Reconcile bank, credit card and Paypal and similar statements
* Perform other administrative and supportive tasks
* Entering orders in the system
*Qualifications*
* Proficient in on-line QuickBooks specifically in A/P, A/R and general accounting, with 5+ years experience
* 4+ years experience in Microsoft Office
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Effective phone and customer service and problem solving abilities
* Strong organizational skills
* Excellent English written and spoken skills
* Perform administrated tasks as needed
* Attention to detail and accuracy with ability to work in a fast paced environment
* Software used: On-line QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, Ship Station
* General knowledge of office apps
* Emailing with Outlook
