Bookkeeper
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring the integrity of our accounting data. This role requires proficiency with various accounting software and a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles to support the company’s financial health and compliance.
Duties
* Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations using accounting software – QuickBooks
* Record and categorize financial transactions accurately and timely
* Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and payments
* Perform account reconciliations for bank statements, credit cards, and other financial accounts
* Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities
* Assist with payroll processing and related reporting requirements
* Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
* Maintain organized and secure financial records for audit purposes
Qualifications
* Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, with familiarity in accounting software such as QuickBooks
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, payroll procedures, and financial reporting
* Expertise in account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and account analysis
* Ability to manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently
* Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
* Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data accurately
* Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
