Job Description
On-site general labourer – farm position. Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots; grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to the size, shape, colour and volume to fetch high price in market; hand harvesting vegetables; pack fruits and vegetables; plant, cultivate and irrigate crops; sort fruits and vegetables; weeding; write daily basic progress reports; clean work area; fertilize and spray crops; harvest crops; detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry; examine product for quality and its readiness for the market; set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops.
