<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div>General Labour | Plant HelperOur North York client is looking for personnel in their Production Department.Location:North York, ONOwn Transportation Required | Site Is Bus AccessibleCompensation:All Shifts – $17.60/hr.Job Type:<ul><li>Full Time Hours</li><li>Part Time Schedules Available</li><li>Temporary | Assignment Based</li></ul>Shifts:Regular 8 Hour Shifts(Please note these shifts could run 10 – 12 Hours depending on production)<ul><li>Days: 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | 6:30 AM – 2:45 PM</li><li>Afternoons: 2:00 PM – 10:30PM |2:30 PM – 10:45 PM</li><li>Nights: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM | 10:30 PM – 6:45 AM</li></ul>Continental 12 Hour Shifts(Shifts may rotate between Days and Nights) (Week 1 – Mon,Tue,Fri,Sat,Sun, Week 2 – Wed, Th)<ul><li>Days: 5:30 AM – 5:45 PM | 6:00 AM – 6:15 PM | 6:30 AM – 6:45 PM | 7:00 AM – 7:15 PM</li><li>Nights: 5:30 PM – 5:45 AM | 6:00 PM – 6:15 AM | 6:30 PM – 6:45 AM | 7:00 PM – 7:15 AM</li></ul>Job SummaryWork in various areas of the facility performing general labour duties.<ul><li>Perform general plant duties, including hand packing product, palletizing cases, moving skids, etc.</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe working environment</li><li>Provide weekend coverage as required based on production volumes</li><li>Food Safety & Quality responsibility as outlined in SOPs & other training materials provided and accurate record keeping</li><li>Monitor and maintain the Quality, Food Safety and SQF systems</li><li>Attend prescribed courses and training as required</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Minimum high school diploma and/or food industry experience</li><li>Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), including excellent sanitary habits, CIP systems and possess knowledge of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP)</li><li>Ability to work independently and in a team environment</li><li>Ability to be flexible in terms of shift work and perform other duties as required</li><li>Physically capable of performing the demands of the job and ability to multi-task</li><li>Good communication skills, including written and verbal</li><li>Mechanical aptitude and solid troubleshooting skills</li></ul>Safety & PPE Requirements:<ul><li>CSA-approved steel-toe safety footwear (green patch) required</li><li>All additional personal protective equipment will be provided on site</li><li>Compliance with all site safety, GMP, and sanitation requirements is mandatory</li></ul> This position is offered through 3PL Inc., a licensed Temporary Help Agency.
