Job Description
On-site general farm worker – harvesting position. Apply the technique of hoeing between the row; clean the crops; clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas; clear fields of wood and stones; cut agricultural crops; cut agricultural seed according to farm standards; divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots; grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to the size, shape, colour and volume to fetch high price in market; hand harvesting vegetables; pack fruits and vegetables; plant, cultivate and irrigate crops; seed cutting; sort fruits and vegetables; weeding; clean work area; fertilize and spray crops; harvest crops; load, unload and transfer crates, supplies and farm produce, livestock and poultry; operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment; detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry; examine product for quality and its readiness for the market.
