Job Description

On-site journeyman/woman carpenter position. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials; build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems; fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware; instruct apprentices.

Requirements

• Other trades certificate or diploma
• 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
• English
• Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely
• Working at heights training
• First Aid Certificate
• Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
• Carpenter Red Seal Certificate
• Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
• Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate
