Job Description
On-site carpenter helper position. Set up, prepare and adjust processing machinery; repair boats; prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted; prepare, sand and trim wooden furniture and fixture parts; operate heavy equipment; co-ordinate work activities with other departments; clean and maintain equipment; assist skilled tradespersons; assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators or other metal workers; assist in display of merchandise; assist in preparing the construction specifications for sets; measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials; communicate with other workers to co-ordinate the preparation and completion of work assignments; mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting.

Requirements
