Job Description

On-site cook position. Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods; inspect kitchens and food service areas; train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food; supervise kitchen staff and helpers; maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment; clean kitchen and work areas; manage kitchen operations; portion and wrap foods; organize and maintain inventory.

• Wage: $15.90 to $16.10 per hour (to be negotiated)
• Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week, Permanent, Full-time

Requirements

• No degree, certificate or diploma
• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
• English or French
• Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely
• Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
• Safe Food Handling certificate
• Food Safety Certificate
• First Aid Certificate
• CPR Certificate
