Job Description
Professionalism in customer service; Drive lighter, special purpose trucks; Load and unload goods; Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials; Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle; Receive and relay information to central dispatch; Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption; Credentials; Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses; Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles); Experience and specialization; Type of trucking and equipment; Dry bulk; Refrigerated; Straight truck (4,600kg+ or 10,000lbs+ with 3+ axles); Transportation/travel experience; Local.
