Job Description
Spend the Season in Waskesiu Grey Owl Center is seeking an experienced Carpenter for full-time seasonal work in Waskesiu Lake, located in Prince Albert National Park. This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on construction, independence, and a lakefront national park setting. Accommodation is provided. Work Overview: Work will focus on residential construction and renovation projects. Duties may include: * Wood framing and structural carpentry* Interior finishing and trim work* Exterior finishing/detailing* Metal cladding installation* General residential construction tasks* Working independently on assigned projects* Keeping job sites clean, organized, and safe What We Are Looking For: * Residential construction or general carpentry experience* Strong framing and finishing skills* Metal cladding experience is an asset* Ability to work independently* Valid drivers license* Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented* Strong work ethic and problem-solving skills Journeyman certification is welcome but not required. Practical experience is most important.
