Job Description

On-site carpenter position. Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements; measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials; build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems; fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware; instruct apprentices.

• Wage: $21.00 to $40.00 per hour (to be negotiated)
• Hours: 35 to 60 hours per week, Term or contract, Full-time

Requirements

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience an asset
• English or French
• Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely
