Child Care Provider – Private Home
Mississauga-based private home is presently seeking an experienced Child Care Provider located at 899 Hampton Crescent, Mississauga, ON L5G 4G5 Canada.

Job Duties:
- Supervise and provide attentive care for children in the employer’s residence, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals and snacks according to the children’s dietary requirements and preferences.
- Assist children with daily routines, including dressing, personal hygiene, toileting, and other age-appropriate self-care activities.
- Organize and lead educational, recreational, and developmental activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth.
- Accompany children to and from school, appointments, extracurricular activities, and community programs as required.
- Maintain a safe, healthy, and stimulating environment by ensuring proper supervision and implementing household safety practices.
- Perform light housekeeping duties related to the children, including laundering children’s clothing, tidying play areas, cleaning children’s rooms, and sanitizing toys and equipment.
- Monitor children’s behavior, emotional well-being, and developmental progress, and communicate regularly with parents regarding their care and activities.
- Administer medications and follow specific care instructions provided by parents when required and authorized.
- Encourage positive behavior, social skills, and healthy habits while providing emotional support and guidance appropriate to the children’s age and needs.
Requirements
Education: Secondary school certificate
Experience & Skills: 3 years of experience
Language: English
Hourly Rate: $20.85 to $22 per hour for 30 to 44 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
Benefits: 4% Vacation Pay
