Donair Dude Kitsilano is looking for closing shifts and weekend, who is hardworking, responsible, and enthusiastic Team Associates to join our growing team. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, providing excellent customer service, and being part of a supportive team.
*Duties*
* Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
* Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
* Prepare and assemble menu items including donairs, wraps, platters, and side dishes, and beverages.
* Operate kitchen equipment safely, including grills, fryers, and ovens.
* Maintain food quality and presentation standards.
* Handle cash and electronic transactions accurately.
* Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
* Assist with food preparation, stocking, and inventory management.
* Keep the kitchen, food counter, dining area, and workstations clean and organized.
* Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
* Support opening and closing duties as required.
*Qualifications*
* Previous restaurant or food service experience is an asset but not required.
* Experience in a shawarma, donair, or quick-service restaurant is preferred.
* Strong customer service and communication skills.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong attention to cleanliness, food safety, and quality standards.
* Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Must be at least 18 years old or older
* Willingness to learn new procedures and take on additional responsibilities as needed
* On-the-job training will be provided to motivated candidates with a strong work ethic.
