Housekeeping Attendant

Starting at $23.01 per hour

30 hours per week, permanent full-time employment

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces throughout the hotel. This role supports the housekeeping department by ensuring all areas meet hotel cleanliness standards while providing excellent guest service at all times.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain guest rooms according to hotel standards and procedures
  • Ensure a high level of guest service and respond professionally to guest requests
  • Sanitize all hard surfaces and maintain cleanliness throughout assigned areas
  • Vacuum, dust, mop, and clean all guest room and public areas including:
  • o Bedrooms
  • o Bathrooms
  • o Kitchens
  • o Living rooms
  • o Balconies
  • o Fireplaces
  • o Hallways and corridors
  • o Lobbies
  • o Ski/Bike valet room
  • o Meeting rooms
  • o Washrooms
  • o Pool decks and pool change rooms
  • o Elevators and elevator foyers
  • o Service areas and back-of-house associate areas
  • Make beds, change linens, replace towels, and replenish guest supplies and amenities
  • Maintain housekeeping carts, storerooms, linen closets, and cleaning equipment in an organized manner
  • Receive, stock, and deliver housekeeping supplies, laundry, and amenities
  • Handle guest and housekeeping requests promptly and courteously
  • Assist with turndown service when required
  • Assist with stripping and cleaning guest rooms as needed
  • Report maintenance deficiencies, damages, safety hazards, and unsafe working conditions promptly
  • Follow all health and safety policies and procedures
  • Perform additional housekeeping and cleaning duties as assigned
  • Work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
