*We are Hiring*
*Position: Kitchen Helper*
*Location: Red Chillies Flavours of India, 936 Bedford Highway, Halifax, NS B4A 3P1* (Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time (Flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends)
*Job Responsibilities:*
* Assist chefs with food prep (chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, cut and marinating meats).
* Maintain a clean and organized kitchen (washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, sweeping/mopping).
* Support inventory tasks (unpacking supplies, stocking fridge/freezer).
* Help with basic cooking tasks as needed (e.g., boiling rice, grilling naan).
* Follow food safety standards and team instructions during busy service.
*Requirements:*
* No prior experience required ? training provided! (Bonus if you’ve worked in a restaurant or with Indian/South Asian cooking.)
* Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20kg.
* Reliable, team player with a positive attitude.
* Legal right to work in Canada.
