Job Description

On-site long haul team truck driver position. Professionalism in customer service; drive as part of a two-person team or convoy; load and unload goods; operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials; oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment; perform brake adjustments; perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle; receive and relay information to central dispatch; record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.

• Wage: $63,500.00 to $89,500.00 annually (to be negotiated)
• Hours: 40 to 50 hours per week, Permanent, Full-time

Requirements

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
• English
• Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely
• Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
• Defensive Driving Course
• Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)
• Forklift Operator Certification
• Professional Driver Improvement Certificate
• Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
