Languages: English
Education: Completion of a college or other diploma or certificate program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management
Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, are required.
On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Responsibilities and Tasks
- Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits
- Evaluate daily operations
- Monitor revenues to determine labour cost
- Monitor staff performance
- Plan and organize daily operations
- Recruit staff
- Supervise staff
- Train staff
- Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
- Conduct performance reviews
- Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- Leading/instructing individuals
- Address customers’ complaints or concerns
- Provide customer service
- Manage events
- Maintain clean and safe work environment
Credentials
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Beverage service certification, Safe Food Handling certificate
