Job Description
restoration carpenter position. Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements; fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware; schedule and co-ordinate work on sites; estimate costs and materials; prepare floors for installations; prepare and install hardwood floors; perform various trade work during home construction or renovation activities; measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets; ensure compliance to drawings, specifications and building codes; build patios, garden walls and other decorative installations; perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair; install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings, using hand and power tools.
